The international airport in Ponta Delgada is a mere 25 minutes by car. The house sits in the middle of green meadows with completely unobstructed and territorial views of the ocean and the village of Ginetes. The property size is 2000m2 and the house (120m2 of living space), built in 1999, has been maintained in like new condition. A large, covered patio, sheltered on 2 sides, functions as an extra living space. In addition, an enclosed solarium/extra room with floor to ceiling windows sits right next to the house. The House sits at about 200 meters in elevation on the western flank of the beloved Caldeira of Sete Cidades. One can hike directly out the door of the house and 90 minutes later arrive at the world famous lookout of the green and blue lakes, or "Vista do Rei" - king's view of the Caldeira Sete Cidades, one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal and a UNESCO world heritage landscape. A 5 minute drive brings you to the "Ferraria", a natural hotsprings in the ocean, well known for year-round bathing.
