The house is in a narrow cobbled street, originally only for donkey traffic, but parking is easily found 2 minutes walk from the house and access is easy to arrange for removal van or vehicles from the other end of the street where it joins a wide road.
There is a small but highly functional kitchen opening out into a dining area with a separate toilet on the ground floor. There is plenty of storage with built in cupboards and a large window in the dining area creates a pleasant dining experience.
There are two medium size bedrooms on the first floor and a shower with toilet.
On the top floor is a large room with large windows that leads onto a roof terrace with wonderful views of the surrounding Algarvian hills, a great space for living room or studio.
The rent is €300 excluding electricity and water both of which are metered and billed bi monthly and can easily be paid at the ATM 5minutes walk from the house.
Internet and phone are easily arranged and can be contracted to the tenant at the cost of about €25 month for basic package.
Alte is a traditional small but popular town with all amenities ...doctor, health centre, police and council office (junta), pharmacy and supermarket.
Alte is famous for its wonderful church and its waterfalls where the locals gather at eekends to swim and barbecue great fun for everyone and 5 minutes walk from the house.
