The house is located in the heart of the Ligurian Alps territory, in the locality of Valcona Sottana, one of the very few pastoral villages in the area that still retain the central main road covered in stone with the stone and wood buildings arranged in rows along the two sides of the away, typical characteristics of the original mountain villages of the past. The location is isolated and surrounded by nature, but can be reached all year round via the municipal asphalt road.
The house is located in the center of the village but is free on three sides and is independent from ground to roof.
The independent entrance on the ground floor leads to the kitchen, a room made bright by a large window facing south which frames a glimpse of pastures and mountains. The wood-burning fireplace, in addition to heating the sleeping area via air vents, helps to create the classic mountain home atmosphere. Some walls in the living area are covered in wood and the floor is in light laminate. In one corner of the kitchen there is also a niche that can be used as a storage room and pantry. A ducted pellet stove that allows you to quickly heat the house has been installed in the room.
The spiral staircase leads to the sleeping area on the floor above, which is also equipped with an independent external entrance where there is a small wooden balcony.
The bedroom on the first floor is spacious and is furnished with a double bed and a single bed and is equipped with a rustic shelf. There is a wooden mezzanine useful for storing clothes or mountain equipment. The room is made bright by two large windows from which you can see glimpses of the mountains, while the larch parquet floor and the wood-clad walls give the room a feeling of warmth.
The bathroom, present in the sleeping area, has a window and a shower and is made special by a sink with a wooden base and a washbasin made from an old copper cauldron.
The house was completely renovated in 2016, the roof is insulated, the windows have double glazing and the electrical system is certified.
The house is sold fully furnished and ready to be inhabited or to be rented as a holiday home.
