The Location

Les Arcs 1800 is located in the Savoie region close to the resorts of La Plagne and Peisey-Vallandry in the Paradiski region. Built on the side of a mountain in the Haute Tarentaise Valley, the resort offers stunning views of Mont Blanc to the north and a beautiful forest and the slopes to the south. Les Arcs is easy to reach from all airports at Lyon, Chambery, Grenoble and Annecy or the train will take you to Bourg St Maurice where you can catch the funicular. As well as this, the free shuttle bus around Les Arcs 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000 is available from 7am to 7.30pm.


There are plenty of activities and local amenities in les Arcs 1800, including numerous bars and restaurants, an outdoor ice skating rink and a cinema. The resort also has a lovely family atmosphere and has been nick named “P’tit Montagnard” due to the amount of activities and places adapted to children. In the winter, there are activities such as cross country skiing, snow boarding, snowmobile, dog sledding and sledging to enjoy. And there are just as many things to do and see in this resort in the summer, with an 18-hole golf course and sports such as climbing, walking and cycling not to mention the breath taking views and lovely weather!
