It is quite a rare event to see the Cecim Investment Committee approve
and give the go ahead to a 'luxury' development project. This is because
the criteria that justify such a label are often not respected: many socalled
'luxury' developments are far from it in reality.
'Le Domaine du Clavier' is, however, an exceptional residence from
every point of view. This is a very rare product. All the criteria of a true
luxury residence are present :
Its location, in the heart of a wooded park, is exceptional: a high quality
environment that will guarantee a sustained investment value for
decades.
Its position in the area is unique :
• Close to the bridge connecting La Rochelle to Ile de Ré
• Close to the airport
• Just a few minutes from La Rochelle town centre with fully secured
cycle paths. There is also a cycle path to Ile de Ré.
The occupancy outlook is very bright, for several reasons :
La Rochelle and its surrounding region are France's third most popular
tourist destination. The sea and the islands of Ré and Oléron are close
by, Fort Boyard, the plains and surrounding countryside… all attract
tourists from throughout Europe.
The high level of services planned by the developer will add a finishing
flourish to this luxury residence.
La Rochelle is also one of France's leading conference towns. Luxury
accommodation facilities have been in short supply for some years now
as this sector develops. There is high demand for this type of accommodation
throughout the La Rochelle region and the 'Corporate' clientele
is present all the year long.
These elements enable us to say that 'Le Domaine du Clavier' is an
absolutely solid investment. We have classified this development under
the 'Cecim Prestige' label, a label which indicates our premium developments.

and even Ile de Ré.

La Rochelle, 3rd most visited town in France
With exceptional sunshine levels (2,400 per year, the same as the Côte d'Azur) and the proximity of the
islands of Ré, Oléron, Aix… La Rochelle is a privileged spot for getting away from it all.
Greenery, beaches, fortifications, cliffs… a highly diversified environment.
With over 3 million visitors per year, La Rochelle is one of France's leading tourist destinations
The proximity of Ile d'Oléron, and especially Ile de Ré, a hot spot for stars from show biz, politics and the
business world, make a significant contribution to making this commune one of Europe's favourite destinations.
It is an obligatory passing point for the dream island destinations.
But over and above its tourism attractions, La Rochelle attracts a high level of business
tourists and is developing first class economic clusters
Many companies choose La Rochelle for their seminars, product presentations, incentive activities… for two
key reasons:
The location and scenery are amongst the most beautiful in France;
The hosting infrastructure is perfectly adapted to such events.
The only cloud on the horizon is the quantity of accommodation units for short term
stays
The residence falls right into this category and meets a growing demand for luxury
accommodation with premium level services
A multidisciplinary university, TGV train station, a record breaking commercial port, an
extended airport, new business activities in the sectors of finance, water sports and
tourism and the perspective of reaching the level of 100,000 inhabitants by ... La
Rochelle is one of France's most dynamic towns.
Foodstuffs, nautical industries, TGV, fine chemistry, tourism, etc., La Rochelle has chosen to base its future
on the development of grey matter, technologies of the future and quality of life.
Two key poles are being developed: the transformation and exploitation of produce from the sea and
industrial foodstuffs through high added value products.
Agrocean, a 20 hectare business park, gives La Rochelle a unique competitive advantage on the Atlantic
coastline.
A strong maritime influence
Fishing, transport, leisure activities, yachting, La Rochelle is one of the focal points on the Atlantic coast.
Its four ports make it one of France's leading marinas both in terms of economic activities and tourism.
Fishing has long been a tradition at La Rochelle, the activity left the town centre in 1993 for new facilities
at Chef de Baie.
The new fishing port now represents a key economic platform for sea produce: fish trading, salting, smoking,
mussel and oyster cultures…
La Rochelle is also on the itinerary as an Atlantic stopover for the grandest cruise liners.
2003 saw 28 stopovers representing 15,600 passengers.
From engineers to researchers, constructors to sailors, this is one of France's main business centres in the
marine sector.
The town is also a pioneer in terms of urban ecology and is a pilot town for electric
vehicles.
A rich cultural activity
La Rochelle is renowned world wide for two major events:
'Les Francofolies', one of Europe's biggest music festivals.
'Le Grand Pavois' which attracts the world's best skippers and record numbers of boats.
The property developer
