This cobbled street descends steeply, dropping some 75 metres (300 feet) in its 750 metre length, from the old town to the picturesque River Rance and the old port of Dinan. The walk up and down is invigorating, scenic and very interesting and even more enjoyable when you envisage a gourmet meal waiting to be ordered at one of the many picturesque café’s or restaurants at the port of Dinan. All guests will recieve a complimentary welcome basket. 1st Floor Is bright and airy, comprising the living room dining area and kitchen. The living room which is situated at the front of the property is graced with large windows over looking the cobbled street lined with traditional Breton houses dating back to the 1400's. For your comfort the living room is furnished with a 3 seated lounge, 2 arm chairs, TV with English and French channels available, DVD player, stereo system and a variety of games. This open plan room leads onto the dining area and newly fitted, fully equipped kitchen consisting of electric cooker and hob, electric oven, microwave oven, large fridge with separate freezer, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Take the exit for Dinan Centre Follow signs for Port de Dinan Rue du Petit Fort is the cobbled road leading up from the Port and the gites are situated some 100 metres from the bottom. From Rennes Take the RN137 direction St. Malo, Dinan, Dinard for 37km. Take the exit towards D794, Dinan, Saint Pierre de Plesguen, Lanvallay. At the first roundabout, take the 1st exit and continue along D37 Turn right. Take D794 towards Dinan, Lanvallay for 9 km. Pass through Lanvallay and turn left at roundabout and take 1st road on right down to port de Dinan. Ours gites are situated in Dinan on Rue du Petit Fort near to the port of Dinan.
