The main house, L'Ancrage, comprises of a large modern kitchen which has been beautifully fitted out with all mod cons, facing south, with two large windows.
The large lounge /dinning room has three windows on three sides and is of typical Breton character with lovely pinewood floor , beams & a wood burning stove. The gorgeous pine spiral stairs leads to the two bedrooms upstairs. Both bedrooms have pine floors and ceilings with beams and windows facing south.
The property decoration is all to a high standard. From the kitchen, French doors lead to a south facing patio with stone barbeque, small pond with a little waterfall.
The drive leads down to the two gites – Pebbles and Driftwood. There is plenty of parking on the drive. Opposite the patio is a traditional carport / wood store constructed of solid beams and a beautiful red tiled roof
The large beautiful garden with mature trees, large pond, rockeries, flower beds and lawns.
There is also large garage/ workshop , which can take a camping car. Over the of top them there is a large floored area.
DRIFTWOOD has been designed with a spacious living room upstairs taking advantage of the beautiful country views. There are French doors which open on to a large south facing balcony .The modern kitchen area has a dishwasher, full size cooker, microwave, fridge, and plenty of worktops and cupboards. There is a dining table which seats 6 in comfort. Downstairs there are three bedrooms – a double, a twin adjoining and a separate twin room. Also there is a super pine shower room with toilet & basin The living room is designed on the Breton style with the use of natural wood. The whole cottage has been tastefully furnished. There is plenty of parking.
PEBBLES, is a smaller cosy gite. There is a typical French living room/kitchen with a tiled floor, small cooker, microwave and fridge, dinnind table & three piece suite. There is an attractive tiled shower room with toilet & basin. The staircase leads to a twin-bedded room with connecting double bedroom. It is ideal for a family of three or four.
Outside there is a small patio with furniture and small barbecue which faces the sun in the evening.
L'Ancrage is situated in a small hamlet of Kergalet which is just about in the centre of the Presqu'il De Crozon which is part of the Parc Naturel regional D'Armorique. The nearest village with bakers bars and shops plus a sandy beach is Lanveoc about 1.5 miles. Our main town is Crozon with supermarkets (2 miles) and shops cafes, bars and restaurants. Splendid Morgat and enchanting Camaret are 6miles, with their numerous restaurants, bars and cafes. Camaret is also famous for its artist's quarter and fort and church on the breakwater.
